You're in a room with about 10 others, and you're relieved that there's enough space for everyone to move comfortably. Right now, you're all seated on the floor, like Indians around a fire. Except that there is no fire (but it isn't cold). In the middle of the room is a gun.
You don't remember how you got there. You don't really care about that, not as much as you'd want to, since you feel so at home here. The lights are dim and warm, cozy and energized like a dinner by candlelight. You feel light and relaxed. Thoughts come and go through your mind like wind through a grassy field.
Suddenly, someone sits up and becomes rigid. And then another. And another. Their eyes seem to be strained, forced open by something beyond your comprehension. They're concentrating on something. They're looking at something, and you feel the need to look as well.
Someone raises his knee, and puts his hands on the ground, as if he were preparing to sprint. Someone suddenly leaps to his feet, and bounces restlessly on tiptoes.
They're probably going to get the gun and kill you. Their eyes are all looking at something. Their bodies are aching to ascend. You can't let that happen.

Rules edit:
There is no voting.
Everyone has access to this command - SHOOT: (player), and this begins "Killer Phase", where time seems to slow down and certain abilities are allowed to trigger. If the SHOOT command goes uninterrupted, and everyone else says "STAY", then the player who initiated the SHOOT command kills his target, and the DAY ENDS.
You might find that you have abilities that have awoken in you suddenly. If you wish to act during Killer Phase, you may act by following the instructions in your PM. Newer actions are resolved first. Canceling of actions is not allowed.
You cannot target yourself.
You cannot pretend to have abilities by posting bogus actions on the public thread. - 1st attempt: Warning. 2nd: Modkill.
Killer Phase:
1)
Start: Player declares Begin Killer Phase > SHOOT: (target)
2)
Any player with an ability may act - the first action resolves first, should multiple actions be posted. After this action resolves, the next is considered, until RESOLUTION is reached.
Actions are done by posting the action you want to use in the main game thread.
A player may have only ONE action in the stack of unresolved abilities. You cannot take back any actions you post.
3)
The mod declares End Killer Phase > (Target) dies
or
End Killer Phase: Failure
When someone is killed, the day ends. Submit night actions through your private threads within 1 and 1/2 days of the death scene. |

Streaks of orange light peeked through the corner of the truck behind which we stood. In the rare light in our place, I could see little of her clothing, for she was dressed completely in black. Her skin, however, glowed, like radioactive snow during the months of August. It amuses me to know the true meaning of the word "fallout", and how it had changed with the times.
She asked me how I was, to which I replied, "I am feeling absolutely perfect." Immediately I sensed the presence of an insult invading my speech, and so I "continued" my line, "Perfectly fine." Her four irises gleamed in the street light, shuffling in curiosity. At least, that's what I thought it was. I ran my hand down her bare back, and then the night began. The only other thing in my mind, besides my desire for her, was that I love having seven fingers. |
